I am George, founder of Rocket Capital and a trader and researcher who has spent years working across global markets.
My main interests are trend following, value investing, AI infrastructure, and the ways artificial intelligence is changing finance, business, and individual work. I also continue to build my own trading and research systems, using data, tools, and AI to make complex investment decisions clearer, more systematic, and easier to review.
Why I write this journal
This journal records my research, trading notes, work as a founder, and observations on education, technology, wealth, and ways of living.
I began it after a question occurred to me while reading a philosophy book: everyone has a perspective on the world, so why isn’t everyone considered a philosopher?
Perhaps because having opinions is not the same as developing a philosophy. Many thoughts remain vague and scattered—never clearly expressed or systematically examined. Ideas with real vitality must also withstand questions and objections, then be revised and strengthened through each encounter.
First, I write to preserve my thinking. Ideas that feel important in the moment are easy to forget. Writing them down lets me return later and ask whether they still hold, where my reasoning failed, and how my thinking has changed.
Second, I write to share those ideas. If they offer someone a useful perspective, all the better. If they invite disagreement, I welcome the exchange. The collision of viewpoints is itself a way to understand oneself again and keep improving one’s thinking.
This is not a place for final answers, but for ideas still taking shape.
